Example flower stand at the market:

  1. For a flower stand at a weekly market, for example, different QR posters are configured with a fixed amount and product.
  2. The customer selects a bouquet and scans the corresponding QR code for payment.
  3. Since the QR code is preconfigured, the correct amount is displayed directly. Example: "12 red roses price EUR 50".
  4. The payment is completed directly via the smartphone and a message about the successful payment is displayed.
  5. The vendor receives a direct notification via SMS or e-mail that the bouquet has been paid.

Payment on site - for sports fields

The QR Pay tool can be used for self-service payment of sports fees such as golf, tennis, indoor climbing and much more.

Example: Golf green fee:

  1. The club will configure each QR poster with a fixed amount and product. In this case two QR Codes will be used, one for children and one for adults.
  2. The customer scans the QR code with the smartphone.
  3. Since the QR code is pre-configured, the correct amount is displayed immediately. Example: "Junior Greenfee price EUR 25".
  4. The payment is completed directly via the smartphone.
  5. The club receives a direct notification by SMS or e-mail that the green fee has been paid.

Payment in the restaurant and bar - tip included

With QR Pay, you can offer your guests more payment options in the restaurant or bar and make the payment process more efficient and more secure through hands-free payment. The QR code can also easily be used for tipping.

Example payment in a restaurant:

  1. If the guest is ready to pay, the proforma invoice is printed as usual, but contains a QR code. The QR code is dynamic and is retrieved via API from Payrexx (contains amount, table number, waiter, etc.).
  2. For payment via QR Pay, the QR code must be scanned by a smartphone camera.
  3. The payment is completed directly via the smartphone.
  4. The restaurant will be notified directly via SMS or e-mail as soon as the payment has been successfully completed.

Collect cab rides with QR Pay

Using QR Pay, cab companies can offer as many means of payment as they like, easily and contactless.

Example Taxi Fee:

  1. The QR Poster or Sticker are displayed in the cab - visible for the passengers.
  2. After the ride, the cab driver informs the passenger of the amount to be paid using the cab meter.
  3. The passenger scans the QR code using a smartphone and is forwarded directly to the payment function.
  4. The passenger enters the amount to be paid and selects the desired means of payment.
  5. The payment is completed directly via the smartphone.
  6. The cab driver receives a direct notification via SMS or e-mail that the cab fee has been paid.

Solve complex use cases with QR Codes and the Payrexx API

The QR Pay tool could also be used for more complex use cases like parking fees.

Example parking fees:

  1. The customer scans the QR code with the built-in camera function on the smartphone.
  2. Payrexx now connects to a central system via webhook and releases the station for payment. During this time the customer sees a "Please wait" message on the phone.
  3. The customer can now enter the parking amount at the parking station or on the phone, choose the payment method and complete the payment on the phone.
  4. Payrexx will now connect to the station via a webhook to complete the payment.
